But I just now got around to making a journal about it. X3;
Not that anyone reads these anyway.

It was nice. :3
We didn't really put up any decorations because my parents were so busy, but...whatever. XD;
I got a bunch of stuff, I didn't die of boredom at the family dinner, and I still got to talk to my friends. X3 It even snowed a little!

If anyone cares, I got:

1. An awesome handheld gaming device that runs emulators for several older systems.
2. Left 4 Dead 2 for the Xbox 360
3. A shirt with a speaker built into it that lets me play sounds and music whenever I want.
4. A shirt that says "All your base are belong to us." on it.
5. Some brainteaser puzzles and things.
6. Some money and some gift cards.

And that's pretty much everything. X3

Number of gifts I got from people online: 2

Honestly I expected more than that.
I can't really say anything, since I didn't make gifts for anyone. Neither did I go around wishing people a Merry Christmas.

But it seems like very few people ever talk to me anymore unless I'm upset. And maybe people are just busy, and I understand that. But it's a little disheartening when people don't even talk to you, but they make gifts and stuff for other people, especially when they say you're their friend.
I don't mean to make anyone feel guilty, it's just I think that's why I spend less and less time answering messages on dA. People don't really talk to me, and I feel bad about being here but not saying anything, so I just avoid dA more than I would otherwise.

Almost no one even cares...
After I do everything I can to show how much I care, my friends abandon me...
And apparently it's my fault...but I don't even know what I did...

I'm only still here because I promised...

I could complain about my life, but I honestly don't know why I'm so upset...

But has anyone else noticed that it seems like everyone is upset all at the same time, or does it just seem like that to me? What is going on?
I've been more stressed than usual lately, but it seems like everyone else has been, too...
I hate seeing people suffer like that...I want to do something, but I have my own problems, and there's not anything I could do anyway...

My life is great, and I hate myself for hating it so much...
I should be happy, but I never seem to be...

I hate it when...

• ...people stop in front of you in the hallway or on the stairs for no good reason.
• ...people stop to talk to their friends in the middle of the hallway so you can't get past
• ...teachers think that breaks are excuses to give more homework. Why the hell do we get a "break" if it's just for more work!?
• ...people apologize for something but then don't even try to change. They probably never meant it in the first place.
• ...people don't even try to hide that they're cheating off of your test/quiz. Sometimes they actually ask, to which I reply "No."
• ...people think that if they ask a million times you'll finally cave and give them what they want. I can be quite stubborn, and I've found that if you say "No." enough times, the opposite happens.
• ...people go on about how someone is "cute" or "hot". When they're joking around, I don't find it funny, and when they're serious...how shallow can you be!?
• ...people try to compare how many friends they have with someone, as if that was some measure of worth somehow.
• ...people ask to be your friend, but then never speak to you ever again for as long as you're both alive. Sometimes they later try to call in a favor or something because you're "friends".
• ...people run down the wrong side of the stairs and expect you to get out of their way. One of these days I'm going to snap and just push someone down the stairs.
• ...people complain about how stupid teachers are. 99% of the time, it's their fault and not the teacher's in the first place. Very mature behavior right there.
• ...people blame you for things you can't possibly have had anything to do with. Especially when you weren't even there.
• ...people complain about how badly their friends treat them. It's not the complaining that bothers me, it's that they're still calling those people "friends" after everything. Honestly some people can't seem to tell "friends" from "worst enemies".
• ...people ask for free stuff (at your expense), especially when you don't even know them. It's not so bad with friends, but you still shouldn't ask...
• ...people complain about things like not having a subscription. I'm sorry if you don't have money like I do, but I'm not going to feel sorry for you because you don't get a few extra things that don't matter anyway.
• ...people ask you if you like school, and are genuinely surprised when you say you don't. Who likes school!?
• ...people obsess over their appearance, especially if it's for attracting the opposite sex. Attitudes like that are what make shallow relationships.
• ...people go through at least 3 different relationships in less than 6 months.
• ...people even mention sex or anything sex-related that isn't a stupid joke. It's not possible to get any more shallow than only liking someone because you want to have sex with them.
• ...people try to force their beliefs on you, or anyone else. Especially religious beliefs, and especially when Christians, or people who claim to be Christian, do it. It clearly says in the Bible not to force your beliefs on people. I'd look it up but I'm too lazy...but way to follow your own guidelines... <.<
• ...people associate colors with genders, unless it's meant to be taken that way. Pink is not a girl color. Colors are genderless, thank you. Blue and pink may designate gender, but that doesn't mean anything beyond signs and things.
• ...people walk into class smelling like cigarettes. Do you really think no one else can smell that? How obvious can you make it that you smoke? I might add that that is illegal in the state of Illinois if you're under 18.
• ...people pass you while you're already driving over the speed limit.
• ...people get away with anything illegal because of the laziness or corruption of officials or law enforcement. Do your job, idiots...I honestly want to report some teachers.
• ...people ask a million questions, especially in Math, about something we covered last week, or even last year. I can see how much you've been paying attention.
• ...people show off how smart they are. I resent that...I happen to think I'm a very intelligent individual, but I try not to rub it in...
• ...people flip out about art theft. Seriously, you put it on the internet. I'm not saying it's okay, but there aren't any internet police; it's going to happen, and there's not much you can do about it. I can understand professional artists' position...but they can also afford to hire lawyers. Most of the time, I see people who wouldn't make a cent off of the art complaining about it.
• ...people discriminate against people for being "weird", "crazy", "creepy", etc. There is no such thing as "normal". Get over it.
• ...people say anyone else is "worthless" or that no one loves them. Not only is that horrible and cruel, but it's a blatant lie. No one is worthless. No one.
• ...people flame others, especially without provocation.
• ...people flame "flamers". When you retaliate, you join their ranks. Congratulations. No, you were not justified in any way, shape, or form.
• ...people flame/spam art thieves. See previous.
• ...people think they're better than everyone else, and you can tell by the way they talk to you. No one is perfect, including you. Get over yourself.
• ...people panic about any news before they learn any details. This one happens all the time, and I'm sick of it.
• ...people assume that something is true just because it was on the news.
• ...people assume that something is wrong just because it came from the internet, especially Wikipedia. Not everything is wrong, just like not all news is right.
• ...people treat the opposite sex as inferior. Get over yourself. You are not "hot", people don't "want you". The ones that do are just as bad as you are for being so blind.
• ...people obsess about celebrities. Honestly...who f***ing cares what _____ had for breakfast!? I have my own life to worry about.
• ...people always ask why you don't like something after you just explained to them that you hate it. I don't have to explain all of my reasons to you, I am allowed to have my own opinions. It's okay sometimes, but it mostly bothers me when they sound offended that you don't like something that they like.
• ...people argue over opinions, especially stupid, pointless ones. You can't measure "better", so don't even try to argue that. It looks really stupid.
• ...people think they're being so "cool" or something when they cause problems in class. It's not cool, it's stupid, and you should be kicked out, but the teacher is always too nice for that.
• ...people take a class so they can fail it, especially when they have to pass to graduate. Way to waste your life. I won't feel sorry for you when you're in summer school to make it up in time for graduation.
• ...people laugh at the injuries of others, unless those others really had it coming or should have known better.
• ...people complain that they aren't "popular".
• ...people take it personally when you don't like something, even if it has nothing to do with them at all.
• ...people actually care who their friends are friends with. That's none of your business, for starters...
• ...people get upset because they aren't someone's "best friend". If you're actually comparing your friendship to another, you're probably too shallow to have a solid friendship in the first place.
• ...people think love is stupid. If you'd ever felt it, you'd never make fun of it again for the rest of your life.
• ...people don't even try to spell correctly or use punctuation. It makes your sentences ten times harder to read. If you really want to show that you want something, put some effort into it.
• ...people get mad when you won't let them borrow things. If you want it so badly, get your own.
• ...people make overly long journals by adding new things to the bottom repeatedly, or when they simply overwrite the old one. It makes it almost impossible to read after a while, and you can't tell which comments are for what, etc. There's a "New Journal Entry" button for a reason.
• ...people delete their old art. Why did you post it in the first place if you weren't going to leave it up for people to see? I don't care how much you hate it, old art shows how much you've improved, which is sometimes more impressive than just the new art.
• ...people abuse the anonymity of the internet to post rude or obscene comments. Come on, people...that's something five-year-olds should know better than to do.
• ...people actually blatantly claim to be more mature than other specific people. Trying to use that as a comparison is itself immature behavior.
• ...people like/hate something just because it belongs to a particular brand name or fandom.
• ...people think that internet love can never be real. You obviously wouldn't know.
